Srijan Sandip Mandal is a historian with a PhD in History from the University of Hyderabad. He is on the faculty of the Center for Public History at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bengaluru, where he teaches in the Center's postgraduate programme in Public History and Heritage Interpretation. He is passionate about developing compelling ways of communicating historical research to diverse audiences outside academia. That is why he has started leading heritage walks in and around Bengaluru.
