Pune Cultural Mapping
Pune Cultural Mapping
In 2016, Sahapedia created the only available medium in the world about the Fort Kochi geography, its history spanning centuries and its cultural diversity (https://www.culturalmapping.in/fortkochi/). Three years later, emerging from the success and learnings of the Fort Kochi project, Sahapedia is expanding its efforts by mapping Pune. In the next one year, we hope to create a user friendly interactive bi-lingual (Marathi & English) digital map of Pune city in collaborations with students, experts, practitioners and residents in the city. We hope to incorporate exhaustive and reliable information for 20-25 themes covering 1200 sites across tangible, intangible and natural heritage of Pune.

About the Event
Have you ever been curious about the origins of Sur and Taal, or why Hindustani musicians sing at a certain pace. Along with these, come explore more about the building blocks of this rich musical tradition which will be addressed at ‘Tune In’, an interactive workshop on Hindustani Music by the Baithak Foundation.
