Tales of Jaipur’s Ancient Temples

About the walk

Temples are popularly known to be places of worship, and a representation of the architectural taste of the place they belong to. But what we often don’t come across are the stories associated with them, the stories of their making, the inspiration and experiences that they are built on and built with.

This walk will be a brief journey where we will look at the stories behind these religious monuments, and the beliefs these places uphold. It is an attempt to further understand our temples by looking at a mixture of tales, science and the art that stands behind them.

This guided tour is free.
