A Military Breakfast Walk through the Old City of Agra

About the walk

The army has been a constant part of the history of Agra. Be it the imperial army of the Mughals with their 100,000 horses and multitudes of elephants, or the present Indian army that still calls the Agra Fort home. The presence of the army in the city has left a significant mark on the city's trade and food. Breakfast items like nihari and haleem were born out of the same necessity as shoe trade in the city.

Come, join us on a breakfast trip across the old city as we experience the food of the troops and delve into the stories of the military and the city. The walk will take you through the oldest part of the town and will end at a surprise spot overlooking the beautiful Taj Mahal.

This guided tour is free.
