The Hazira Maqbara, located in Danteshwar, Vadodara, is one of the city's lesser-known mausoleums. It contains the grave of Qutubuddin Muhammad Khan, the tutor of Akbar’s son and successor, Salim. With five arches on each side, the mausoleum resembles Humayun's mausoleum in Delhi. The interiors walls of Hazira have Quranic texts inscribed on them. The mausoleum is also surrounded by a beautiful garden.
