One of the most prolific districts of Hyderabad is Misrigunj. This elite district of a bygone era is a cluster which starts from Mehboob Chowk (Clock Tower) near Charminar. On the trail, we will walk past the bustling murgi market, entering the royal colony of the Paigah family, known as Shah Gunj. Here, we will brush past the Palace of Iqbal-ud-Dowla, walk across the Fateh Darwaza area and enter the lanes of Misrigunj, which house the dargah of Hz Yahya Pasha (Rh).
Finally, we will end the walk at the world’s tallest medieval dome at the shrine of Hz Shah Raju Qatal Hussaini (Rh), who was the spiritual guide for the last Qutub Shahi King, Abul Hassan Tana Shah.
This area is called Jaha Numa, and is one of the oldest areas of Hyderabad.
