About the walk

Bharuch the second oldest in India after Varanasi. The city was best known for the maritime economy it sustained under the rule of different dynasties. This led to the emergence of the city's unique culture and architecture. Some of the notable structures are the Bharuch fort, of which a wall is still standing tall, the Jami Masjid, the Golden Bridge and Nathu Thoban's Haveli.

Come join us for this Photowalk to explore the streets of Bharuch and capture the essence of the once-busy markets and the silence of the Raichand Deepchand Library, the oldest in western India.

He was born and brought up in Bharuch and is doing Bachelor of Arts in Indian History Culture and Archaeology, Department of Ancient History and Archaeology, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He loves to travel and meet new people and is a foodie. He loves outdoor sport especially football and enjoys cycling and has cycled from Baroda to Bharuch once.
