There is no better place to walk to just before the summer sets in than a memorial library. The Chandra Shekhar Azad Park, previously known as Alfred Park, houses a rich history and numerous heritage structures. Join us as we explore the park on our way to the magnificent Allahabad Public Library, also known as the Thornhill Mayne Memorial. Nestled within the green campus, it beckons you. We will meander on different paths to this remarkable example of Scottish Baronial architecture built in 1864. Large groups of sitting readers will make you realise that no extent of technology can substitute books just yet.
