India gained independence after a long struggle and the contribution of many freedom fighters and prominent leaders. On this walking tour, we take you to prominent places linked to India’s freedom movement. We will visit areas connected with eminent leaders like Subash Chandra Bose, Raja Subodh Mallick, Rajendra Dutta and Nirmal Chandra Chunder. On this route, the participants will also visit the memorials of revolutionaries like Anukul Mukherjee and Bepin Behari Ganguly, who took part in armed struggle against the British. Last but not least, we will visit places that gave rise to prominent educational institutions like Bengal National College and notable political institutions such as the Indian National Congress. The participants will be kept engaged with interesting anecdotes as they walk around the city.
