Celebrating World Heritage Day - A Nature Trail to Sanjay Van Forest

About the walk

This walk is designed to heal your mind and body, as you stroll through the dense Sanjay Van forest.

The forest, spread across 700 acres, has over 10,000 trees of species like jamun, been, arjun, amla, harad, giloe, etc., and other local trees like hinjer, khejdi and khair. It also houses over 150 species of migratory birds and peacocks, nilgai (blue bull), and a habitat full of animals, birds and butterflies.

The walk shall also have some group activities to reinvigorate all five senses.

So join us on this walk and reconnect with nature.

Mohit Gupta
Mohit is an engineer, explorer and travel enthusiast who is interested in alternative education, and organises green travel workshops, trips and other activities under an initiative called TravelOffTradition. He also works with The 1947 Partition Archive to collect oral histories of people who have witnessed the Partition.
