Shimla, aptly nicknamed ‘the Queen of Hills’, is known for its natural beauty and pleasant climate. Situated at a height of 6,890 feet, it welcomes visitors with its serpentine roads, thick deodar forests, cool breeze and fresh clean air. Mall Road, the epicentre of Shimla, is always buzzing with tourists. The walk intends to give you a glimpse of rustic Shimla. Experience the cosy feel of dhaba chai in the misty air and get a taste of what the locals swear by. Dhabas are always a feature on the must-visit list of every traveller and we will take you to the ones that are most famous among the locals.

  • Entry fees to monuments are to be borne by participants. Gaiety Theatre has a nominal entry fee of Rs. 10/- for Indian nationals and Rs. 25/- for foreign nationals (this may have increased). Other monuments either have free entry or entry is not allowed inside (as they are used as government offices).
  • Expenses on food, travel, etc. are to be borne by the participant. 
  • Photography is allowed wherever permissible.
  • Please wear comfortable walking shoes and carry drinking water. 
  • There are a few parking complexes near the meeting point. Parking is paid and to be borne by the participant.
