An excellent example of the synthesis of Islamic and Hindu architecture, the Sri Ram Rai Gurudwara was established in the 17th century by Guru Ram Rai, the eldest son of Sri Har Rai, the seventh Sikh guru. Situated at a distance of 500 metres from Dehradun Railway Station, the Sri Ram Rai Gurudwara is a famous centre of pilgrimage for Sikhs.
