A Walk to the Town Hall Museum

About the walk

The Town Hall Museum is situated in the heart of the city. Used as an administrative building during the British era, it was converted into a museum a few decades ago. The museum displays centuries-old ornaments, coins and pottery from Brahmapuri. There are galleries dedicated to sculptures, paintings and weapons. The area around the museum houses rare and beautiful species of trees and flowers. This building was constructed in the neo-Gothic style, which was applied to building architecture in nineteenth-century India.

  • Footwear needs to be removed when entering the museum. Wear shoes accordingly.
  • The museum is accessible from all parts of the city. However, parking facilities might not be available.
