About the walk

On this Women’s Day, let's understand the stories of the women of the old city and how important their role has been in our culture. Through this walk, we will also talk about important aspects of our heritage that define Ahmedabad and visit some of the most famous places here. The walk will start at Bhadra Fort and we will cover sites like Teen Darwaza, Rani no Hajiro, Fernandes Bridge, Amritvarshini Vav, Panchkuva Darwaza, and walk along the narrow lanes of the walled city. Join us to know and understand the rich fabric of the city better.

She has completed her bachelor’s degree in History from Delhi University and is currently pursuing Post graduation in Heritage Management from Centre for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University.
